Did you know that Healing Transitions has a thrift store? Recovered Treasures provides gently-used clothing, furniture, electronics, and other home goods at discount prices to the community. And the best part is that 100% of proceeds are donated directly back to Healing Transitions’ operations! Recovered Treasures also provides needed items and employment opportunities to Healing Transitions’ participants and alumni.
How it works: When someone donates items to Healing Transitions, the first thing we do is make sure all of the needs are met for the current program participants at each campus. Anything that is left over is taken to Recovered Treasures to be sold to help raise funds for the program. So no matter what, every single donated item helps our participants in one way or another!

Schedule Pick-Up
Supporting Recovered Treasures has never been easier. Choose the donation option that works best for you:
Fast Pickup with ReSupply
Need your items picked up quickly? Through our partnership with ReSupply, you can schedule a pickup within two business days, including large furniture and household items. Smaller donations can also be sent to us through Uber. A service fee applies and is paid directly by the donor.
Free Pickup with Healing Transitions
If you have flexibility in your schedule, our Healing Transitions team offers free donation pickups, typically available about two weeks in advance. This option comes at no cost to you and helps support our mission just the same.
- We do not accept mattresses or tube televisions.
- We will pick up in the triangle area on a case by case basis.
- We must speak to you on the phone before any pickup is made.
Drop Off Locations
Donations can be dropped off any time of day at either of our Healing Transitions campuses or you can drop them off at our thrift store during store hours. Please note that any donations dropped off at one of our campuses will first go directly to our participants as needed, and then will go to our thrift store where 100% of the proceeds go toward supporting Healing Transitions. So, no matter what, you can feel good knowing any donation is directly impacting our participants.
