Caitlin Elliott

Board of Directors

Caitlin believes people matter. And that drives everything she does. In 2012, she founded Angel Oak Creative, a purpose-driven marketing firm serving nonprofits through strategy, branding, and campaign services. After receiving her B.A. from the School of Media and Journalism at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Caitlin spent the first five years of her career searching for a vocation. When she stumbled upon the Triangle’s nonprofit sector, Angel Oak Creative was born. She gives all the glory to God for helping her find her calling.

Caitlin’s vision is to impact 1,000 nonprofits in the Triangle and beyond by 2023. Along the way, Angel Oak Creative has earned industry accolades from local, regional and international award competitions. In addition, the Triangle Business Journal has recognized Caitlin with both a Women in Business and 40 Under 40 award.

Caitlin has had the privilege of serving on director and advisory boards for Band Together, Passage Home and Carroll’s Kitchen. Though her heart beats for all of the human-services missions in the Triangle, she is most passionate about freedom from addiction and long-term recovery.

A native of North Carolina, Caitlin is always on the hunt for her next adventure (preferably with her three nephews and Goldendoodle, Pretzel).
