Christopher (Chris) Hicks is President and CEO of Provident Resources Group Inc., a national nonprofit development and financing organization dedicated to advancing mission-driven public-private partnerships. Chris leads the company’s strategic direction, growth initiatives, and long-term partnerships with universities, healthcare systems, municipalities, and other institutions across the country.

 

With more than two decades of experience in public finance and infrastructure development, Chris has helped lead billions of dollars in tax-exempt bond financings and complex partnership transactions across the country. Prior to joining Provident, he spent 18 years in the Public Finance Department at Citigroup, where he specialized in higher education and public-private partnership initiatives nationwide. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wake Forest University.

 

Chris has lived in Raleigh for many years and developed a deep appreciation for organizations that strengthen and support the community. Through his work and personal connections, he came across Healing Transitions several years ago and was immediately drawn to its mission and the life-changing impact it has on individuals and families. He is proud to support and stay connected to the organization and its efforts to provide hope, recovery, and long-term stability for those in need.

 

Chris lives in Raleigh with his wife and 2 sons and enjoys golf, travel, and time with the dogs.
