Mick Quinlan serves as the Commercial Regional Product Director for the Southeastern Regional office of Nationwide Insurance located in Raleigh, NC. The Regional Office employs over 500 people that service Nationwide’s members throughout the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia and Florida.

 

Mick also serves as Chair of the Board of the Alabama Insurance Underwriting Association (AIUA), Vice-Chair of the North Carolina Joint Underwriting Association (NCJUA) and Vice Chair of the North Carolina Insurance Underwriting Association (NCIUA). Each organization exists to provide consumers needed insurance protection when they cannot find coverage elsewhere.

 

Mick has been with Nationwide for twenty-three years serving in a wide variety of roles including, Product Development, Underwriting, Operations and Sales. Mick believes in the importance of giving back to the community and throughout his career has been an avid supporter of Volunteer efforts within and outside the organization.

 

Mick has volunteered with organizations including the United Way, Habitat for Humanity, Boys and Girls Clubs of America and the SPCA to name a few. More recently Mick has led his team to volunteer events in support of InterAct and the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina right here in Raleigh.

 

He has a B.S degree in Journalism from the University of Florida, a B.A degree in Business from St. Leo University, and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

 

In his free-time he enjoys hanging out with his wife Erin, daughter Riley, and Labrador Retriever Grommet. His favorite pastimes include mountainbiking, hiking, kayaking and playing boardgames.
