Pete has spent the majority of his career in the clean energy sector focused on building and scaling businesses that reduce greenhouse-gas emissions and address the impacts of climate change. He is currently the SVP of Business Development at Dandelion Energy, a geothermal energy company, spun out of Alphabet’s X, that designs, builds and installs residential geothermal systems. Pete holds a BS in Business Administration from UNC Chapel Hill and an MBA from Duke University.
Having received so much love and fellowship from the recovery community in Raleigh, Pete is thrilled to be of service to others as a board member for Healing Transitions. He has previously served on the boards of Southeast Energy Efficiency Alliance, Urban Ministries of Wake County and Special Olympics NC.
Pete is an avid fan of hiking, Will Ferrell movies, plant based cuisine, Planet Fitness and pickleball. He lives in Raleigh with his wife Maria and two rescue dogs. They have three young adult “kids” (two in NC and one in Utah).
