Eye Opener – Darrell’s Story

“Before coming to HT, my life was unmanageable because of drugs and alcohol. Coming here has been an eye-opener for me. It has given me clarity and is helping me make choices and decisions without feeling like I have to rush the process. I love to visit the guys in detox, and always have them in the front of my mind. For me, it’s about remembering what it was like when I got to detox, and how hard it was to get through it. I had nowhere else to go.

My favorite part of the day is hanging out with the guys in front of the CTR 1 hall after classes have ended. We can let our hair down and have fun conversations, recreation, and laugh at ourselves.” – Darrell S., HT Participant

On September 24, we will cap off the month with a Day of Giving, where an anonymous donor has generously offered a $25,000 day-of-giving match! This means the impact of your gift on the 24th will be doubled dollar-for-dollar up to $25,000! Find out how you can help out HERE!
