A LEGACY BUILT ON SECOND CHANCES

Recovery begins with an open door, and for thousands of people, walking through that door can change everything.

Twenty-five years ago, a small group of community members believed that even in the darkest moments, healing was possible. They created a place where dignity replaced shame, hope replaced despair, and lives that felt beyond repair could begin again.

Because of that belief, generations of men and women like you have found recovery, rebuilt relationships, reunited with family, and discovered futures they once thought were out of reach. This Alumni Campaign honors that legacy and calls on those whose lives were transformed to help ensure that the same life-saving recovery services remain available for the next person who walks through Healing Transition’s doors.

A NOTE FROM YOUR PEER

Hear from Board of Director member and Silver Chip Alumni #268, Herb Barbee, about how he’s leading this Alumni Campaign out of deep gratitude for the program that helped change the course of his life.

Once desperately seeking recovery himself, he now has a life he could have only dreamed when battling addiction. Now, Herb is giving back to ensure others have the same opportunity to find recovery, rebuild their lives, and discover what’s possible when support and second chances are so offered freely.

A STORY THAT NEVER ENDS

The stories below are shared by alumni who once walked through this program in search of hope and healing, and found it. If you would like to share your story or a memory, please reach out to our Communications and Events Coordinator to schedule an interview or learn more about how to get involved.
